About Me

My name is Huma Zareef

I work with busy professionals who want their home handled properly with clarity, structure, and confident decision-making.

Most clients come to me not because they lack ideas, but because they’re overwhelmed by choices, short on time, and want a clear direction they can trust. My role is to step in, take responsibility for the design thinking, and guide the process calmly from the start.

I don’t believe in over-decorating or chasing trends. I focus on proportion, layout, and cohesion so a home feels considered, functional, and complete rather than pieced together over time.

Every project begins with understanding how a space needs to work in real life. From there, decisions become simpler, faster, and far more effective.

MY APPROACH

Interior design is rarely about a lack of ideas.

Most of the time, clients come to me because they feel stuck:

  • Too many decisions

  • Conflicting inspiration

  • Purchases that don’t quite work together

  • Uncertainty about what to prioritise next

I step in to simplify that.

By assessing the whole picture layout, flow, and direction I help clients move forward with confidence rather than guesswork.

WHO I WORK WITH

I primarily work with busy professionals who value their time and want a clear, structured process.

My clients often:

  • Are furnishing or renovating an entire home

  • Want their space to feel cohesive rather than room-by-room

  • Prefer clear guidance and professional leadership

  • Don’t want to manage every detail themselves

They want to trust the person they’re working with and that trust matters more than trends.

HOW I WORK

I believe good design starts with clarity.

Every project begins with a paid design consultation, where we establish direction before any further decisions are made.

This ensures:

  • Time is used efficiently

  • Money is spent intentionally

  • The project progresses without unnecessary delays

Whether we continue working together or not, my clients leave this stage with clarity and confidence.

My work is centred around a clear, professional interior design service that helps clients make confident decisions.

BACKGROUND

I hold a Master’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Huddersfield and work with clients who value structure, clarity, and professional guidance throughout the design process.

My work is defined by:

  • Calm, considered design

  • Functional layouts

  • Cohesive spaces that feel finished and intentional

I focus on solutions that work in real life not just on paper.

How Clients Work With Me

Most of my clients work with me remotely, allowing projects to move forward efficiently regardless of location.

This model works well for clients who value structure, clear communication, and a defined process from the outset.

In-person services may be considered for suitable projects once the initial direction is in place.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

If you’re considering working together, the best place to start is a design consultation.

This allows us to assess your project properly and establish clear direction before moving forward.
